for disabled persons travelling to Florida
Persons
visiting Disney in Florida can now enjoy a new pool feature "zero-entry".
This ramped beachfront offers guests access into the water using
special wheelchairs, provided at participating disney resorts.
New pools are currently available at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
 Florida's
theme parks want to make sure everyone has a wonderful time. Most
parks have websites and pamphlets offering detailed information
on facilities available. All theme parks provide special parking
facilities and out-of-state vehicles displaying disability parking
permits issued by another state are allowed to park in spaces
designated for persons with disabilities. Many of the larger theme
parks offer wheelchair access in restrooms, easy reach telephones
and first aid stations. Florida law states that guide dogs be

Many
of Florida’s State Parks offer accessible facilities and programs.
Camping, picnicking, cabins, fishing piers, trails, historic sites,
exhibits, and swimming areas are available for all visitors to
enjoy. For additional access to trails and beaches you may hire
all-terrain wheelchairs.
